PACKAGES / COST

The Shoot…

For most occasions we would recommend at least two cameramen to ensure that we don't miss any of the vital action. It is not only the obvious shots that we are after… we also look to capture those spontaneous moments which can occur at any time and can be gone in a blink of an eyelid.

You may wish us to produce a mini-documentary encompassing the planning and preparation including attending sessions at the dress makers; the jewelers, meetings at the venue, the rehearsal – even the hairdressers.. We can also provide a camera for you and your family to compile a video diary… our ideas are limitless!

The Edit…

This is where the magic comes in. Our expert editors will use their creativity and sensitivity to transform the footage into a seamless and entertaining record of your special day. Using the latest technology and with a vast array of video and post-production effects at our fingertips fingertips, for most clients we will usually produce two different versions. The first being a comprehensive record of your special day, the other a highlights sequence.

At this point we can also add the music of your choice (copyright permitting) and sometimes clients will also ask us to add in a series of still photographs, usually shots from the early years of the bride and groom.

To finish the edit, a few titles are added and then the finished video is ready for transfer to DVD and/or VHS.

 

Authoring & Copying

These days most clients are opting to have their finished video delivered on DVD. Our technicians will author the final edits to produce a fully interactive DVD, adding motion menus, scene selections and picture galleries including additional content such as still photographs, etc if required.

Our designers will also create the artwork for a personalisdl DVD sleeve. Then to complete the project we can make as many copies of the finished package as you wish on DVD, VHS or most other formats.

 

The Costs

At Epic Creative, we prefer to start by listening to your plans for your big day and then prepare a specific quotation for your special occasion to suit your budget, however please refer to the following standard packages as a general guide to our pricing.

Here at Epic, we do not aim to be the cheapest…. if price is your only concern then we are probably not the company for you. We do, however, offer all our clients a high quality, professional and friendly service at a realistic and fair price.

Platinum Plus Package from £4,000 plus VAT

This is our completely customized “mini-documentary” package which can include us sending cameras to shadow the bride and groom at all the important meetings, fittings, rehearsals, etc prior to the big day. From the initial briefing at the reception venue to the final fitting of the bride's dress; from the hen and stag nights to the hair and make-up on the day… our cameras can be there to record it all!. We can even use an on-screen presenter, a voice-over or produce an elaborate multimedia title sequence to complete your documentary .

 

Extras & Options

•  All prices exclude VAT

•  MCPS copyright licence fee for music used – usually around £17.50 plus £10 admin/filing fee.

•  Any filming after 9.30 pm is chargeable extra at £100 per hour per camera

•  Any travel over 25 miles between ceremony and reception locations is chargeable extra.

•  Any filming outside London and the Home Counties - travel, accommodation and subsistence chargeable extra.

•  Copy of all footage and final edits onto back-up storage drive for you to keep as safety master £175

•  Express editing - delivery within 14 days £350

•  Loan of mini-digital camera plus basic instruction to record DIY video diary prior to wedding (to be included in final video)-£40 --.per week plus tape cost as used

•  Sentimental/nostalgic photo montage to include in video (from originals supplied by client) – from £100
